Sex – with or without a condom?

It’s not too easy to buy a condom. You can get it at a sex shop, drugstore, convenience store, webshop, and many other places. Usually there are about 4 to 8 different kinds which vary from the famous brands to “no name” ones. There is however no selection in sizes, as stores will only risk ordering normal size. But this size is not suitable for everyone. Therefore a condom may be too tight or too loose, and this will make it unsuitable for protection. It is widely known that penis size usually varies between 10 cm and 25 cm (4 to 10 inches); however, a normal size condom may move if the penis is about 17 cm (7 inches) long or thinner than average because it may be too loose. In cases like this it’s actually girth that matters, not length. Although condoms are elastic, flexible, and suitably thin, they are not able to adapt to any size of penis.

Why do you need it?

Condoms provide protection against several things. Even in ancient times, people knew and produced similar devices from natural materials (e.g. from animal intestines). Sex for pleasure dates back to the beginnings of mankind, therefore contraception and the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases has always been an issue.

Condoms provide protection against most germs, bacteria and fungi, and they also reduce the risk of viral infections. They protect a woman’s health at times when the endocervical canal is open (e.g. during menstruation, as many people continue with vaginal sex even at this time). Condoms also provide the least dangerous form of protection against unwanted pregnancy. Birth control pills are not recommended for young girls or older women.

What are the side effects?

Even the harmless condom may have undesired side effects. Some people experience allergy problems. The inability to find the appropriate size is also a frequent problem. If the condom gets torn or slips, it will no longer protect against anything. However, if you fail to check it every time after pulling it off, you may think there are no problems, and this will put you at increased risk.

Condoms may also lead to sexual dysfunctions. Couples blame the condom for problems such as decreased lubrication, too much friction, and decreased sensitivity. Some boys and men lose their erection as soon as they put on a condom. However, there are solutions for all these problems, and once you find them you may start enjoying this new type of sex which is pleasurable with a condom.

Enjoy putting it on.

The process of putting on a condom can be pleasurable if it is also done with eroticism and as a part of good sex. The woman may “massage” the condom onto the penis with her fingers and lips – this will provide a visual and sensual experience that no man would want to miss. Condoms that are colorful, thin and transparent, lubricated, and sometimes even perfumed and flavored will provide an experience which is different from what a penis without a condom would provide. Those who make sex with a condom pleasurable for themselves will find that they’ll enjoy pleasuring a “dressed-up” penis even if the use of a condom is not absolutely necessary.

This form of protection allows a man to ejaculate inside the woman’s body. However, it is also very exciting visually if the glove is taken off near the end and ejaculation takes place outside the woman’s body.

Condoms that have a coarser surface and come in various playful forms can only be enjoyed by women who can go on with sex for a long time and produce ample lubrication.
